To create a family garden complete with a recreational garden room, patio for social space for lounging and bbq. The rear garden was overgrown and had an existing building with was outdated.

We designed a contemporary garden room with was placed in the overgrown space to maximise the use of the garden. The existing building and rear of the garden was hidden with cladding to match the garden room. This created a strong background for the new garden.

Architectural steel was used as a feature in different forms. A lawn remained as a play space for the children and a lighting plan would create the connection between the garden room and house by night.
